How does one become a member of the Independent Conservative Republicans of Texas?
Members are invited based on their conservative record and their willingness to honor the principles of our organization.
Why are current members only from the legislature?
We began our organization at the legislative level. The next step will be to invite those who believe in our mission and pledge to honor our contract at the county and city level. Our goal is to strengthen our party through conservative principles at every level of government on behalf of the people.
Who serves on the board of directors?
The founding members will select representatives from both the House and Senate, as well as from the group of legislators at the local level to serve on the board.
Categories:
New Members
Legislators who have joined after the formation of our organization. As the years progress this group will continue to grow as new people are elected to office.
Primary Winners
Candidates who have won their Republican primary and who are running in November for a seat now held by a Democrat, or who defeated an incumbent, and will now be the new Representative or Senator in Austin.
County and Local
County and city officials, as well as other elected officials who pledge to represent the people at the local level in accordance with our contract. We are now forming this group. It too will continue to grow in the coming months and years.
