Our History

The Words of Jefferson and Madison are as relevant today as they were when written. Since our earliest days every generation, no matter the struggle or hardship, has passed on the torch of peace, prosperity, and freedom to the next generation.

Our Founders believed that all men had the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The unalienable rights that our founders spoke of, endowed to us by our Creator, have been defended by the blood and treasure of our nation for over 225 years. Those who seek to steal our freedom, rob us of our liberty, and take the fruits of our labors, whether they be enemies from afar, inside our borders, or government itself, must not prevail. If the ideals that formed the foundation of our nation perish, then our nation will perish.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
  • From bondage to spiritual faith;

  • From spiritual faith to great courage;

  • From courage to liberty;

  • From liberty to abundance;

  • From abundance to complacency;

  • From complacency to apathy;

  • From apathy to dependence;

  • From dependence back into bondage.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Thought to be written by the Scottish author Alexander Tyler, some historians have questions if he was the actual author.

"The Tenth Amendment is the foundation of the Constitution."
